home of Maria Maddalena Bonaparte, Napoleon’s sister. Recently restored
this bright and spacious villa is luxurious and comfortable and perfect
for those who want to holiday in a historic setting.
Although it is on a secluded knoll, Contessa Marianna is within walking
distance of the charming Tuscan town of San Minato, approximately twenty
minutes west of Florence. With a wonderful swimming pool and beautiful
grounds Contessa Marianna is the perfect place to holiday
under the Tuscan sun.

GROUND FLOOR : Two luminous spacious rooms divided by a large central passage. On one side of the
passage is a large kitchen adjoined to the dining room and an accompanying salon furnished with antiques.
The kitchen is a great cook's kitchen - extremely well furnished with excellent utensils. There are two
sets of china, one everyday set and another elegant setting for special evenings. The living room has a
charming working fireplace
FIRST FLOOR :
Contessa Marianna has
six large bedrooms with twelve beds. Each bedroom has a name evocative
of its age-old history: the loft, the terrace, the married couple's
bedroom, and the Sequoia bedroom, of the Professor and of the Angels.
Each bedroom has been designed to provide its own unique tranquil and
extremely comfortable atmosphere. The house is completely furnished
with antiques, The rooms are air conditioned and equipped with satellite
television. Bathrooms have either shower or bathtubs. Some of the bedrooms
are handicap accessible. .
OUTDOOR : The
Villa Contessa Marianna has a wonderful garden and swimming pool, surrounded
by mature trees and rolling green meadows. They are ideal places to
relax and rest both the body and mind.
