Villa Alzato is part of the former country residence of the prime minister of Leopoldo, the Grand Duke of Tuscany. Half an hour outside of Florence the Villa Alzato was built in 1700 on the site of a seventeenth century monastery. A good sized apartment of 240 square meters occupying the first floor of the villa, Villa Alzato has been faithfully refurnished by the owners in keeping with the period of its original construction.
The Italian garden is for the exclusive use of guests, while the spacious grounds, designed by architect Poggi and the swimming pool are shared with the other occupants.

La Loggetta is 240 square meters and is divided into three levels:
GROUND FLOOR : entrance from the Italian style garden into a large living room with French doors overlooking the garden.
FIRST FLOOR : two large living rooms with fireplaces, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom plus one single bedroom and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with tub).
THIRD LEVEL: spiral staircase leads to the third level where there is another living room with terrace , from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Valley.
OUTDOOR SPACE : The Villa is surrounded by a magnificient park designed by the Architect Poggi. The Villa has also an Italian garden and shared swimming pool.
